Coronet Peak Base offers an extensive selection of dining options with three outlets in the base area and a gorgeous mountain restaurant at Rocky Gully.

Coronet Peak Café

When the sun is shining and you want to get back to the snow as quickly as possible, the Coronet Peak Café is the perfect place to grab a quick meal on the go!

The menu features cafe style food including our famous burgers, hot snacks, pasta and pizza slices as well as a range of locally made pies and sausage rolls, catering for a variety of tastes and preferences.

There are also plenty of healthy options with a wide selection of fresh daily sandwiches and gourmet rolls, wraps, salads and sushi. Yes! - we cater for vegetarians and gluten-free diets and our staff are more than happy to accommodate your dietary requirements - please ask one of our friendly café team if you have any special needs.

Sporting fantastic views of the Wakatipu Basin and The Remarkables range, the friendly staff and efficient service will get you back out onto the slopes refreshed and revitalised and ready for some more turns!

Coronet Peak Restaurant

The Coronet Peak Restaurant hosts floor to ceiling windows where you can take in views of the slopes and the Wakatipu Basin whilst you kick back and enjoy your meals. On beautiful days when the weather is mild, you may wish to have your meal on the large sundeck (which extends out to the edge of the snow) where you can enjoy the food, tunes and cosmopolitan ambience.

Come inside and you’ll find that the large windows allow for an uninterrupted view of the slopes, lifts and people having fun on the snow.

The restaurant offers a full buffet breakfast menu for the early risers as well as a selection of a la carté options such as pancakes and berries or mountain-made muesli and fruit for a healthy start to the day.

At lunchtime, choose from a variety of dishes from around the world. You'll find curries, hot pots, daily noodle creations, fish & chips, lasagne, sushi, an extensive salad bar and plenty more. In a hurry? Grab one of our famous, melt-in-the-mouth hot roast meat rolls smothered in gravy.

Our internationally trained baristas serve excellent coffees and hot drinks and the fully licensed bar offers an array of local and international wines, beers, spirits and mulled wine.

On Friday and Saturday nights the Night Skiing crew serve our renowned Kiwi roast dinner as well as a scrumptuous a la carté menu featuring gourmet pizzas, pastas and the chef's daily creations.

Mexican Cantina

Situated on the deck, the Mexican Cantina is an excellent choice for a quick and easy Mexican meal, at affordable prices.

With a range of Mexican dishes to choose from such as tacos, burritos, nachos, quesadillas and our healthy salad bowl served in an edible tortilla basket, the Mexican Cantina is a fantastic option when time is of the essence!

Coffee and hot drinks, snacks and cold beverages are also available for purchase from the Mexican Cantina out on the deck.

Heidi's Hut At Rocky Gully

Heidi's Hut is located at the base of the Rocky Gully T-bar. Join the locals at their favourite mountain restaurant and enjoy a laid back lunch.

The menu is Italian style with a great selection of boutique pizzas, pastas, goulash and soup, all prepared by our chefs on the premises and cooked to your liking. Breakfast is also available, with great espresso coffee throughout the day and a fully licensed bar.

Make time to head to Heidi's for a mulled wine by the fire or a slice of pizza on the surrounding deck, if the sun is shining the outdoor table settings allow you to soak in some rays (don't forget your sunscreen!). Alternatively come inside and let our small and friendly team take care of you. We provide full table service so you can concentrate on warming up by the fire and take in the stunning 180 degree views of the Wakatipu Basin and Remarkables Range.
